Rapid Clean Out of a client's extremely cluttered home is not always necessary, and is not recommended if other options are available. Harm reduction is a solution for family members to help a person with hoarding tendencies remain in their home safely.  We offer a free zoom seminar for families who want to learn how to discuss their concerns about safety and clutter with their loved one or friend. 

If you're dealing with extreme clutter in your home, virtual declutter sessions can be very effective. Our team will teach and coach you on decluttering methods, how to let go of excess items, reducing the acquisition of new items, and maintaining your progress. For those feeling anxious about having visitors to their home, we recommend starting with online sessions to establish trust and build an effective working relationship. We use Zoom, Facetime, Duo, and Messenger and are open to trying other video apps of your choice.

In our first 2-3 hour session, we collaborate with the client to declutter a small area. This process allows the client to feel more in control and accomplished. As we progress through subsequent sessions, we shift towards coaching, where the organizer acts as a coach and the client takes charge of the physical sorting and decluttering. It's important to note that overcoming a lifelong hoarding tendency is a gradual process and cannot be achieved in a week or a month. For dedicated clients, we recommend ongoing in-person sessions as well as virtual accountability sessions to maintain home organization. We personalize the program to fit your schedule, health considerations, and budget.
